The ceremony will be held on June 15-16, 2012, in Atchison, Kansas
Dr. Kathryn D. Sullivan will be the Keynote Speaker for 2012
Dr. Sullivan is the Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Environmental Observation and Prediction, and also the Deputy Administrator for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). As an astronaut, she flew on three shuttle missions and was the first American woman to walk in space. Read Dr. Sullivan's Biography
There also will be a Special Ceremony to Honor the late Dr. Wangari Maathai, Nobel Laureate and Benedictine College graduate. She founded the Green Belt Movement , an environmental organization based in Kenya. Dr. Maathai passed away in 2011. Her biography may be found on the Nobel Prize website

2014: Discovery through Flight -- Aerospace pioneers, astronauts, test pilots, designers, etc.
2015: Flying and Forests -- Linking green spaces and aviation/aerospace, foresters who fly, smoke jumpers, pilots of fire tankers, etc.
2016: World Friendship Through Flying
