5:00 p.m.- Friday Evening Cocktail Party at the Amelia Earhart Birthplace Museum, 223 N. Terrace St, Atchison KS 66002. Two tickets for the bar are included with each registration.
Saturday, September 16:
10:00 a.m. - Induction ceremonies at the Forest.
12:30 p.m. - Luncheon with keynote speaker., Janet Patton. Luncheon will be at Elizabeth's 121 N 5th St.
If you are staying the night, the banquet room at Paolucci's, 113 S. 3rd Street, has been reserved. This will be a time to mingle and network. Dinner will be on you with menu ordering.
The Amelia Earhart Hanger Museum is open. Muriel, the last remaining Lockheed Electra 10-E is the centerpiece to the museum. This is the same model airplane that Amelia flew on her final, fateful flight around the world. There is a fee to tour the museum, however they have a wonderful gift shop in the lobby for souvenirs.
We will not be using the Atchison Trolley for transportation to and from the events. We are sorry for any inconvenience that this might cause.
