2024 has been a productive year for the International Forest of Friendship. We inducted 15 honorees at our 49th Anniversary Ceremony in September. We received a grant to improve and replace sidewalks starting in spring 2025. We encourage you to visit and support the beautiful living, Forest.

Welcome

The Forest was established in 1976 as a bicentennial project by the City of Atchison and The Ninety-Nines Inc., The International Organization Women Pilot. Each September, new honorees are inducted into the Forest with plaques embedded in the walkway that winds through trees representing all 50 states and over 35 count
